Sales - How does CounselMore pricing work?

CounselMore’s pricing is designed to scale with the size of your Active student list. When your Active student list is in growth mode, you won't have to upgrade, just add students. Upgrade when growth is sustained & reduce per student cost

1. Choose a Plan:

Select a plan that matches your level of use by purchasing enough space on your active student list to accommodate your inbound student services. Every account begins at the entry level plan for 

5 Active students

Each time you add a student your cost will appear on the screen. This gives you the opportunity to consider your costs.

2. Upgrade when you want:

We don’t require you to upgrade unexpectedly. Instead, we offer a 25% discount to every new member on each tier and each student cost. At each tier, the cost per student drops.  In a use case scenario, a counselor may receive 10 inquiries in a growth period, but resolve to serving only 7 of those students. When the students were added as Active, the counselor carried the extra 2 Active students only for the time inquiry took place, When it was determined the counselor would not be working with the students, the student record status was moved to Archived and the student portal is turned off. The counselor pays a smaller cost for a short period of time, instead of forcing the account to upgrade to the next tier or turn off/on student records.

3. Custom Tailored Rates:

If the standard pricing is still a challenge, please contact us. Instead of turning student records on and off to save money, or turning students away, we’d prefer to review your account with you and offer you a tailored rate to meet your needs, despite our already low prices.

4. Growing Needs:

If you expect your database or email needs to grow over time, you’ll need to purchase additional student list space to match that growth. If you exceed the number of active students in your tier, you can add more students record space individually. The cost per additional student per month will be displayed on the screen. If upgrading to a higher tier saves you money, that option will also be shown.

5. Transparent Upgrades:

Upgrading to a higher tier reduces your per-student price by spreading the cost over a longer period. To offer these significant discounts, we require a one-year commitment upon upgrading. This allows you to benefit from exceptional pricing, such as $1 per student per month. While you can upgrade your account immediately, downgrading is only possible after the one-year anniversary of your most recent plan change. We appreciate your understanding of the necessity for this commitment to provide such low per-student costs.

6. Billing Cycle Adjustments:

Plan changes take effect immediately. For example, if you are on the 5 active student plan and decide to upgrade to the 15 active student plan, your current plan will end immediately. The new 15 Student plan will begin immediately and the per student charge will drop to the new lower rate. You will receive an invoice to your email box upon completing the transaction.
