We are excited to help you get started with your new account. This guide will walk you through the key steps to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Register for a Free Trial

    • Start exploring CounselMore features with our 14-day free trial.

    • Add up to 5 active students to get familiar with the platform.

    • Join a live group demo to hear from an actual user of the platform
    • Watch the pre-videos and begin free - live training sessions while still in your trial.
    • After 14 days, your cost is $35 p. month for 5 Active students. Feel free to stay with the start plan until your account is set up. Or contact our Peer Mentors who will help you choose the right plan.
  2. Set Up Your Business

    • Personalize your account in the setting menu of your software account.

    • Choose to connect your Google Drive or reach out to us and we can help. Click that training schedule link above.

    • If you are thinking about expanding to a group practice - Schedule a private Q&A session with a CounselMore Mentor.

    • Establish your student onboarding process. Read how other counselors have done it. College counseling is collaborative, you will find many resources shared by CounselMore members.

    • Assign process tasks. If you read the onboarding article linked above you'll be considering the college readiness curriculum.  This is the plug and play solution that hundreds of counselors have used as their starter-product. By jumpstarting with a measurable service delivery, the emerging counselor can spend time focused on building their practice and return to refine their product over-time.

    • Build your routine communications through the Broadcast Messages station or re-use your assignments package to create those messages.

    • If you have ever searched your sent-mail to find a previously sent email, so you could copy and paste it to the next student - then you will love routine assignment functionality! Utilize routine assignments to streamline your workflow and ensure measurable service delivery.

    • Follow your live training schedule for personal training dedicated to each topic!

    • Generate insightful reports on student profiles, test scores, and college lists. Export from your software or integrate using tools like Zapier.
