Open the Student folder

- A new tab will launch taking you directly into the student share folder located on your Google drive.

Create New Document

- This will initiate a Google document, directly inside the Google drive folder. No need to go anywhere!

Upload Files

- Select this option to upload documents directly form your computer hard drive into the student Google drive folder.

Import from Google

- If there are documents within your Google drive that you would like to bring to the student shared folder. For instance documents the student shared with you, that reside in your Google drive "shared with me" folder.

Apply Templates

- This enables the counselor to tap into the Template folders that the counselor connected to their CounselMore account via their Settings > Google drive. If that sounds odd to you, please come to Settings training or read this article or meet with our support team.

Link to an existing folder

- Previous to CounselMore, you created a folder for the student in your Google drive. Select this to navigate to the existing folder in your Google drive and connect that folder to this student record.

If you see the button in the Files tab:

Create Student Folder

- When you first begin using CounselMore you may have entered student records prior to your Google drive being connected to your CounselMore account. After your Google drive is connected this button will appear on student Files tab, where there is no Google folder detected as yet. The button is asking if you would like to generate a folder now.
