Student Profile - Update Client Email After Portal Invite
Issue: When you originally created a student, you entered Email-A.
Now for whatever reason, you need to change the email under that student, to Email-B.
Solution: You don't want to delete the student. This will permanently delete any data in that student and there will be no way to retrieve it. What you want to do is access the student profile and update the email address that is currently on file. Once you update the email address, you will be able to send out a new Student Portal invite and also re-share the student's Google Drive folder to the appropriate email address.
Navigate to: student record >> pencil to open student profile > click Student Information banner
Click the green pencil that's inside the "Student email" text field
Enter the new email address and click "confirm"
The Google Drive and the Student Portal button are now blue again.
Click them when you are ready to re-invite the student to the portal and also share their Google Drive email to the correct address.
