Company Statement on Removal of "Import from Google" Feature
We want to inform our valued users about a recent change to the Files tab functionality within our platform. Specifically, the "Import from Google" feature, which allowed users to directly access files from their Google Drive, has been removed.
This decision was made due to a persistent privacy wall issue encountered with Google's interface, which incorrectly prompts users to enable cookies despite them being enabled and cleared. Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to resolve this issue to maintain the feature's functionality.
We understand the convenience this feature provided and did not make this decision lightly. To ensure our users continue to have a seamless and productive experience, we encourage migration to our new platform. The new platform does not require this functionality due to the integration of superior technology that offers enhanced file management and integration capabilities.
Please note, effective May 1st, the "Import from Google" feature will be removed from all old plans. This step is necessary due to an insurmountable conflict with Google Drive on the old platform. We believe our new platform offers a robust alternative, eliminating the need for direct Google Drive importation while providing a more comprehensive and secure file management solution.
Keep in mind that while the feature is removed you can always upload directly from your hard drive or create a master folder.
We invite users who rely on this feature to consider migrating to the new platform to take advantage of the advanced functionalities we now offer. Our team is here to assist with any questions or concerns regarding this transition and to support you every step of the way.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
