If your team is currently using Google Drive Configuration #1 and you need to switch to Google Drive Configuration #2, follow these steps to make the transition smoothly.
Summary:
Google Drive Option #1 is also know as our "One Drive" option. If you are currently on this option, your entire team is using a shared Google Drive to access all documents. This option is great for smaller teams looking to keep things simple. Once you're ready to move on to something more robust, you can move to Google Drive Option #2. This option allows all counselors to access the integration through their own Google Accounts as opposed to everyone using a shared account. This helps track changes and updates per Google Drive account. Letting you know who is making changes and who has access to each document as opposed to sharing one account. This definitely keeps things simple early on but it can get cumbersome as your practice grows.
Login to your CounselMore Account
Access the Google Drive Configuration Settings > Click Edit
Select Different Google Drive Accounts > Apply Changes
Allow the system to finish loading and confirm the change before closing out. Refresh to confirm.
Go to your Quicklist and click the share button for all counselors in order to grant them access.
Once you see the confirmation at the top right, you can move on to the next counselor.
Review and send this article to each counselor once you have shared the folders with them. It takes less than 30 seconds to complete on their end!
