Student List - Student rating options, demote school from list

Students will rate colleges on their Student List based on their level of interest. What to do when no longer interested in school.

A CounselMore member asked:

When a student decides they are not interested in a college and takes it off of their list,

(The student gives the school s a thumbs down rating or sends it backwards from App Tracker back to Student list)

how do I show on my Counselor List that they are not longer interested? Is there a notation somewhere? I don't want to delete it from my list so we know that it was looked at but want to designate that it is not one the student wants to keep on their list.

CounselMore stands out by focusing on student empowerment and feedback.

Instead of just receiving suggestions, students actively interact with the recommended colleges through a user-friendly interface.

When students view a college recommendation, they can show their level of interest by choosing from three reactions: a thumbs-down, thumbs-up , and heart icons.

  1. In the Student list, any collaborator can, Click the grey heart and a rating menu will appear
  2. Click the Thumbs down
  3. Click the minus sign and that will send it back to the counselor list
  4. It will now be visible on the counselor list but with a thumbs down.

LEGENDS

Heart icon      = Student will promote it to the App Tracker

Thumbs-up icon      =  Student likes the college

Thumbs down  icon = Student  dislikes the college

When reviewing your counselor's list, you will be able to see which colleges received a thumbs-down reaction. This helps you make informed decisions when revisiting college options from the counselor's list, as you can easily identify schools that were rated negatively, as well as those with thumbs-up and heart icons.
