Asana
Asana is a task, project, and team management tool that can be used via the web, desktop, or mobile device. Users manage their team, create projects, assign tasks, and create deadlines. For single IECs Asana can be a powerful organizational tool that helps you visualize your current tasks and keep you on track for deadlines. Partners can use Asana to help balance and communicate the workload in the practice.
Multi-IEC organizations most commonly use Asana to manage the workflow within a team, assign tasks or projects, establish deadlines, and have a shared point of contact for project progress.
Calendly
Calendly is a scheduling tool that allows you to set meetings on your terms, connect all your calendars so you are never double-booked, and create meetings for the right size, length and goal. Counselors can use Calendly on their website, in email campaigns, on social profiles, in text messages, or on web chats to connect with current clients or book potential clients through mobile apps, integrations, and browser extensions. Calendly is also fully integrated with CounselMore.
Acuity
Acuity is a scheduling tool that allows clients to schedule their own appointments according to the parameters that you establish in your calendar. For partner and multi-consultants, Acuity allows you to manage multiple calendars across the platform, program it for different forms to fill out prior to scheduling (such as gathering information about a potential client), and will send reminders via text and email for appointments. Integration is straightforward. Acuity is also fully integrated with CounselMore.
Canva
Canva is an easy way to create social media graphics and many other types of documents. It's a content creation program that’s available for both desktop and as an app. Canva has everything a small business needs to be able to create a set of Social Media templates and other branding tools to set your College Counseling business apart.
CounselMore
CounselMore is an online college planning platform that connects to Google Drive, allowing you to share resources, your curriculum, and create student folders that can be automatically shared with each student. It has a robust college search tool, college data for students, a parent login, easy-to-use assignment feature, as well as deadline/application tracking. On the administrative side it’s great for multi-consultant practices and partner practices, as a master admin account is possible, separate consultant accounts, broadcast messaging, time tracking, texting, and more.
Quick Books Self Employed

QuickBooks Self-Employed combines tax software with cloud-based basic accounting benefits. It helps small business owners keep track of income and expenses, as well as calculate and pay estimated quarterly taxes. It also has a few bookkeeping capabilities that give many small freelancers the information they need to share with their accountant to make bookkeeping an easy task. Zapier
Zapier allows you to connect apps together and create automations that will eliminate extra steps for yourself or your staff. It operates by building Zaps, which are ‘when this happens, then do that’ triggers. This is great for sole practitioners, as you can create Zaps for meeting reminders and a number of other repetitive tasks. For partnerships and multi-consultant practices, Zapier can eliminate a lot of repetitive work and make communication easier
