The Tab Settings feature allows you to control the order of tabs and control their visibility. Here's how to make the most of these settings:
Reordering Tabs
- Navigate to the Tab Settings section.
- Click and drag a tab to your preferred position in tab order.
- Release the tab when it's in the desired location.
Controlling Tab Visibility
Counselors can also choose which tabs to show or hide:
1. Head to Settings > My Business Setup > Scroll down < Tab Settings
When you show or hide a tab, the changes will automatically apply to your portal view, allowing you to see the updated layout immediately.
Displaying Icons in Tabs
In addition to reordering and controlling tab visibility, CounselMore offers options to customize how tabs are displayed using icons:
1. Show Icons in Tabs
◦ When you select this option, both the icons and the tab names will be displayed.
◦ The change will be applied automatically, giving a visually enhanced tab view.
2. Only Show Icons
◦ If you prefer a more compact layout, selecting this option will display only the icons while excluding the tab names.
◦ This is useful for counselors familiar with the icons and seeking a minimalist workspace.
Tip:
Rename Assignments or Meeting Notes tab
New users will see the "Assignments" tab by default. You can now rename it to "Meeting Notes" if you use that section more. The tab handles both Assignments and Meeting Notes, so the option to change the label is to make your environment more comfortable.
