Messaging tab - Guide to Sent, Received, Delivered, Communications

Messaging tab - Guide to Sent, Received, Delivered, Communications We are sometimes concerned if our messages have already been sent, delivered, or read, especially if the communications are critical and require an immediate reaction.

Please see the "key to email status below" to identify your messages. This will all be seen in the messaging tab.

Key to email status below

Sent indicates that the communication is on its way to the receiver.

Delivered means the message has been received or successfully landed to the receiver.

Opened or Read Receipt means that the receiver reads the message.

When a student/parent Opens their email it will reflect in CounselMore messages tab. However, the reflection is delayed. We spoke to our provider and were told that notifications are not priority (news to us). Therefore, there is a delay. We feel the same way you do and we are looking into it.

If a parent does not have a portal, but they have an email in CONTACTS, do they get the emails in their feed?
When a contact email is listed, the icon is green, any assignment summary or invoice will be cc to the contact.

The design methodology of the app is that communications are
primarily handled through the Assignments tab

Hence the auto-copy to contacts and the ability to choose audiences,

point to documents, etc. All from the Assignments tab and that is

why  less  functionality is offered in the messages tab.

We've studied hundreds of service delivery processes. We've

streamlined communications using the Assignments tab

because those are the calls to action for the student/parent that

is the core communication of every process. It is what is most

tangible and accountable to the relationship.

By communicating notes and assignments via Assignments tab
sending, you can turn on auto-send and all live assignments will be
 sent to their respective audiences.

When an assignment is  completed, the student checks 'done' and

the  counselor is notified.

This  minimizes your manual follow up.

Also, the across account assignments tracker allows the counselor to

streamline their daily workflow. Email does not. Although, many use
the email inbox as a To Do list it has been shown to slow work flow

and frustrate the process. We know email can be a hard habit to
break. Our mission is to help you counsel more students in less time
without exhausting your resources or the counselor. We've
researched and tested this flow - try it and see how much time is
