Messaging Tab: Chat Notification Rules

This article will explain how notifications work in CounselMore, including email notifications.

1. Students will receive notifications when their counselor sends them a chat message. These notifications can be received through in-app notifications or email notifications.

2. Counselors will be notified when their students reply to their chat messages. These notifications can be received through in-app notifications or email notifications.

NOTE:

Please note that the method described above is the standard way of sending chat messages between counselors and students, regardless of your account plan. However, in the case of Multi Counselor Admin, the Admin Counselor is unable to send chat messages to students who are not directly assigned to them. Instead, they can only communicate with these students through text messages.

 

Chat is unavailable  to Admin Counselor, unless student  is assigned to them.
