Entering AP/IB Courses, Summer Programs, and College Credits
Where should students list summer programs, AP/IB courses, and previous college credits earned before graduating high school? Should High School Histories include previous college courses attended or credits earned?
Answer:
Students should enter AP/IB courses and college credits earned through dual enrollment or summer programs in the AP/IB section of the academic profile.
The platform does not mirror the Common App structure for summer programs or University Advanced Credit/College Credit reporting.
Where to Enter Information
Go to Bio Banner > Fit Assessments > Classes
Students should add AP/IB coursework in the AP/IB section:

- Enter the AP/IB course name
- Add the test date
- Enter the AP/IB test score
- Include notes if the score is anticipated or estimated
College Credit Earned Through Dual Enrollment or Summer Programs
If a student will earn college credit before graduating high school through:
- Dual enrollment
- A summer college program
- Other university-awarded credit opportunities
They should select:
"Will you have earned college credit through dual enrollment or a summer program before graduating from high school?"
Then provide:
- University awarding the credit
- Course name
- Number of credits earned
- Whether a transcript with a letter grade has been obtained
The High School Histories section should only contain high school academic history.
Do not add:
- Previous college courses attended
- College credits earned through dual enrollment
- Summer college program credits
These details belong in the AP/IB and college credit section.
