Google drive - Connect Google drive to CounselMore Authenticate and link your folders to CounselMore
1. You will connect your CounselMore account to any Google Drive you choose.
❓ Can it be to any Google Drive email address?
Yes - if that email address has Google Drive registered to it. ANY email address can register for a Google Drive for free.
❓Can I change the Google Drive later?
Yes
❓Who will have access to my Google Drive?
Only those who you grant access to. CounselMore the software code, will ask for authorization to move and put files into your Google Drive, that is part of the total integration feature and it requires your permission to "allow" at the time of set up.

How to connect CounselMore and Google Drive
- Go to Settings by clicking the three stacked lines next to your name in the top right hand corner.
- Click on Google Drive in the menu on the far left side of your screen.
- Once there, look to the right and click sign in to Google Drive
or "Authorize Google Drive" You are now Authenticating your Google Drive and granting permission for CounselMore to talk with your Google Drive, and vice versa. Don't worry, no one but you can see into your Google Drive. - When asked for the username and password, enter the credentials for your Google Account. Not the username and password for your CounselMore account.
- Go through the Google Sign in process. A new window will open click Allow
Google lost connection:
As a safety precaution Google will close the authorization when the account has not had continued activity.
The image below, is what it will look like when authorized successfully.
Anytime you see an error message regarding your Google Drive and CounselMore connection, return to your Settings > Google Drive and (even if signed in) choose Sign out > Yes > Sign in.
This will re-establish your connection with Google drive. For security reasons the pipeline will close when inactive for a period of time.
