Either you haven't shared their files with them or they are logged in with the wrong Google account.
The Counselor has full control over who, what and when things are shared.
To share the student's Google Drive folder with the student, click the folder icon to the right of the student's name in the Student Profile.
If sharing is in place and the student can not see their files it means they are logged in to Google with an email that is different than the one you shared with. Students typically have multiple Google 'personas' or logins; one for school, one for personal, one they show their parents, etc.
Your student should login to Google Drive directly.
On the left the will see "Shared with me". The folder you shared with them will be listed in there.
Or they can simply search for their name.
From your side you can open the student's Files tab, click the blue circle menu, click "Open student folder". This will launch Google Drive and display the student's folder.
Click the people icon to the right of the student name at the top and see the personas listed and their permissions.
If no people icon is visible it means that folder has not been shared. This article will help you resolve that.
Still not working?
Have your student refresh the Google Drive tab in their browser.
Google is very strict when it comes to authentication. Occasionally your student will need to logout of Google and log in again before the newly shared file appears.
Make sure your student clicks on the link from the email inbox they receive in order to 'accept' your invitation.
This article will show you how to share that folder with anyone else.
