Texting Setup - Migrating to Toll Free #

Migrating over to our new toll free number

CounselMore has recently developed a groundbreaking feature that significantly improves the efficiency of text delivery. With this new option, users can experience lightning-fast delivery of text messages, allowing for seamless and instant communication. This enhancement not only saves valuable time but also ensures that important information reaches its recipient without any delay. 

Here's what you need to do:

1. Go to Settings > Texting Setup.

2. You will see an option to Opt-in to use a free toll-free number that will guarantee 100% text delivery.


3. This change will result in your students receiving texts from a new number/thread on their phone

(888) 903-1730.

4. After you opt in you'll be prompted to invite any/all students who have active text chains. Your migration WILL NOT BE COMPLETE until you click 'Send' on the screen below.


5. Visit a student's Messaging Tab, Texting to see read receipts. Click 'Resend' on any undelivered message to send it through the new toll free number.




6. The resent message will appear at the bottom of the text chain with it's own read receipt.

 

Alternatively, you may choose to continue using the current number. However, please be aware that CM cannot guarantee text delivery in this case for the time being, though this may change in the coming weeks and we are working aggressively to make that the case.
