Enabling Student Portal Search Settings

Counselors can give students access to search for colleges directly through their CounselMore student portal. To activate this feature, follow these steps:

Go to Settings > Access My Business Setup > Student Portal Search Settings

Enable College Search for Students

Toggle this option on to allow the student to access search settings within their portal.

Once enabled, students will be able to search colleges through their student portal, providing them with greater control and access to important college search information.

If you'd like all new students to have the portal search setting enabled by default, CounselMore allows you to set this option in your account settings.

Go to Account Settings > My Business Setup > Student Portal Search Settings 


Toggle Default to ‘On’: Toggle the default setting to ‘On’ so that all new students automatically have access to the search within their student portal.
