- To edit your profile, complete and re-submit the same form
- Listings are Free to CounselMore and non-CounselMore members

The directory search preview automatically pulls from the beginning of your profile.
To control what appears, keep your first paragraph under 350 characters. This helps ensure that only the first sentence (or a very brief introduction) shows in the preview instead of additional paragraphs.
Q: Can I independently update or adjust my profile after it’s submitted?
A:
Yes! You can update your profile anytime.
• Navigate to your Settings menu inside your CounselMore account and resubmit your updated directory form.
• Or, you can email your updated information to support@counselmore.com, and we’ll make the changes for you.
Q: I'm a writing specialist. How can I make sure families find me for college admission writing services?
A:
To boost your visibility as a writing specialist, make sure to:
• Select “College Admission Writing Support” or a related specialty when setting up your profile.
• Use important phrases in your profile description like “essay support,” “personal statement guidance,” or “application writing help.”
This helps families and counselors searching for writing support connect with you faster.
Q: Does the directory search use keywords?

Yes! Our internal search system matches keywords from your profile, specialties, and description to what families and counselors are searching for.
