The student completes assignment by clicking done in their portal. An email notification is sent to the counselor.
After the counselor has assigned assignments to students, the counselor will decide when to make those assignments live. Live means, visible in the student's portal.
When an assignment is live, it is seen in the student portal and included in the assignment summary email.
The assignment summary email can be sent manually by the counselor clicking send or it can be sent at automated intervals.
Those intervals are set by the counselor.
When the student logs into their portal they will see each assignment in the order the counselor has determined.
The student can click on the blue circle > button, and the assignment instructions will open.
When the student has completed the assignment the student will check the Done box.
That will send a notification to the counselor portal.
The counselor will receive a notification via the bell icon in the top right hand corner of their portal.
Once a student finishes the assignment, they can mark it as 'Done' by checking the designated box within their portal.
The Counselor can disagree that the assignment is not done and return the assignment to Live status.
If the counselor has selected the option to be notified upon assignment completion, an email is sent to the Counselor’s email box.
