Some counselors work in multiple groups
Understanding the Need for Two Accounts
In some cases, counselors want a new account for their private practice while already having an existing account under a Multi-Counselor Plan. This can lead to challenges when trying to register for a new account, especially if the browser automatically logs them into their current account.
To effectively manage both accounts, it is recommended to use two different CounselMore accounts using separate Google Chrome windows. Here’s how to do that:
Steps to Set Up Your New Account
- Log Out of Your Current Account: Start by logging out of your existing CounselMore account associated with your affiliated company.
- Use a Separate Browser Window: Open a new Google Chrome window to avoid any conflicts with saved login sessions.
- Create a New Persona: In the top right corner, click on the profile icon to switch to a different persona or sign in with a new email address.
- Register Your New Account: Navigate to app.counselmore.com/register and complete the registration process for your new CounselMore account tailored specifically for your private practice.
Why This Matters
- Having a separate CounselMore account for your private practice enables you to:
Independently Manage Your Clients: Keep your individual practice distinct from the multi-counselor responsibilities associated with your affiliated company. - Customize Your Setup: Tailor the account to fit the specific needs and workflow of your private practice.
