College List - Columns, Students can edit some columns Different columns provides different capabilities.
Custom columns
These are for the counselor to add a data column beyond what CounselMore has provided. These are purely for data and are tied to the college, therefore will reflect across all lists. Editable by counselor only.
Custom Status Columns
Under the Application Task Tracker banner of the data menu, you will find a button to 'Add Custom Status Column'. This type of column works like all other status columns. The column appears in the Application Tracker tab and both counselors and students can edit this column. They can also mark it 'completed'. This might be an option to track school visits.
Student Research Notes
In the College Profile banner of the data menu, you will find Student Research Notes. This can be activated to show on the Student List. This is where students can keep their general research notes on each college. Editable by student only.
Notes to Student
This is available on the far right of the Student List and Application Tracker. This is where the counselor can store student specific for each college that the student can view (they cannot edit).
Chat with Student
Also on far right of student list and Application Tracker, this is where you can chat back and forth about a specific college with your student.
