A counselor can tell when there is a school on the proposed list that will require on going conversation. Depending on the college list, you may end up with multiple of these schools. When you're sending emails back and forth, things get confusing, ideas get lost, and the engagement drops. This is why CounselMore created the Discussion Column. It's a way for you to instant message your students in chats that are separated by college. This creates a more cohesive and organized approach to working through college lists. See below.

1. By default, you will find the Discuss Column to the very far right of the Student List
2. Click the message icon for any college and start the conversation
3. Your student accesses the chat in the exact same place in their Student Portal
