College List - Columns, Creating college tour lists
The college data menu has several college information columns. Some are ideal to be included in a college tour list.
To build a campus tour list

In the Counselor college list tab, add colleges that the student will be visiting/touring.
- Once schools have returned to the counselor list tab, add new college data/information columns.
- Click the singular navigation button (round blue button) and select College Data Menu
- When the next screen opens you will see banners. These are groups of college information.
- Click on a banner and it will open. Shop through the information columns to turn on/show your choices in the student list.
To turn on/off an information column
- Next to the title/header of the information column will be 3 icons:
- The singular head icon = counselor list
- Graduation cap = student list
- Heart = App Tracker
- A grey icon means the information column is off.
- Click the grey icon and it will turn green.
- Green indicates the information column is now turned on.
- Close the college data menu, returning to the student list, arrange columns
- Using single navigation button, export the list to excel.
- "share" the list with the family. The family now has an information companion for their tour.
Suggested information columns to be turned on in a campus tour list
- Click the singular navigation button (round blue button) and select College Data Menu
- When the next screen opens you will see banners. These are groups of college information.
- Using the search bar at the top of the college data/information menu type in these attributes one at a time.
- All matching results will appear below. Turn green the icon that represents the list that you want the information column to appear on.

- Nearest airport
- Location Description
- College Profile
- Virtual Tour
- Campus Hangouts
- Campus Impressions
- Interview policy
- Auditions
- Notes to student
- Demonstrated interest weight
- Live on requirements
- Athletics Staff list
- Create your own custom college information columns
Hot tip suggested by one of your colleagues:
- Create a student record for "College Tours"
- Under that student profile:
- Add colleges by name to the list.
- Goto your College Data Menu, choose campus tour columns. Close Data Menu.
- Arrange columns by click, hold, drag into placement.
- Export the Student List with the colleges to be toured and the chosen columns, directly into the student's shared Google folder.
- Goto the Files Tab. Launch the list. New tab opens. Manipulate the list as you please.
- Move this file to the correct student's folder or share directly from the Google drive shared folder that the list landed in.
- Use and reuse this profile to quickly create campus tour college lists by "add college by name"
