It acts just like a text messaging system but local to the portals.   This Discuss Column feature allows for seamless and efficient communication between counselors and students, enhancing the overall counseling experience. Whether it's discussing academic goals, addressing concerns, or providing guidance, the Discuss column provides a secure and user-friendly platform for counselors and students to connect. about school specifics. Most importantly, this columns allows for convenient tracking of the decision making process and the often tug-a-war that goes on before a school is chosen.   **Often times, counselors will need to document their assessment of potential admissions. The Discuss column allows for that sensitive conversation to be sequestered, per school and easily retrievable when it matters most. Instead of searching meeting notes, begin the notes to students per school, in the Discuss Column.**   By utilizing this feature, counselors can easily engage with their students, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment - **per each school on the list.** With the **Discuss Column** in their CounselMore account, counselors and students can communicate effectively, making the counseling process more accessible, efficient, and personalized.  ### Discuss Column In the Data Menu there is a column that can be added to the student's list. **The Discuss column**. For example, imagine a counselor who is aware that a family is adamant about applying to a school that the counselor believes will not result in a favorable outcome for the student. Despite the counselor's concerns, the family persists. Eventually, the results align with the counselor's expectations. However, the client remembers the counselor agreeing that the school was a good fit. In a different situation, the counselor would have to search through their emails, spending hours in a stressful and anxiety-inducing process. Instead, by consolidating opinions on a per-school basis in one place, it becomes effortless to refer back to one conversation about that specific school where the counselor provided honest advice regarding the student's potential.
