Broadcast Station - Annual Repeat Broadcast

This feature is particularly useful for educational institutions, career counselors, and other professionals who need to send out annual reminders, updates, or important information to their students or clients. By setting up these recurring messages in advance, you can streamline your communication process and focus on other important tasks. This feature not only saves you time but also ensures that your messages are consistently delivered at the right time each year, helping you maintain a strong and reliable relationship with your students or clients.

To make use of this feature, simply follow the steps outlined below:

1. Head to Settings > Broadcasting Station > Scheduled > Create Broadcast

2. Provide all required details such as the message content, recipients, scheduling date and time, and any attachments or links that need to be included in the message. Once all necessary information is filled out, ensure to click the option "Repeats annually" before finalizing the message to set up the recurring communication schedule. This option allows you to choose the specific date each year when you want the message to be sent out automatically, saving you time and effort in manually sending out reminders, updates, or important information.

The “Send To” dropdown when scheduling a "Repeats annually" message includes the following options:

• All Students
• Seniors
• Juniors
• Sophomores
• Freshmen

If you work with 7th graders, 8th graders, post-graduate students, or summer-only students, etc.. the recommended workaround is to use Tags, which allow you to create and message custom student groups.

Step 1: Add Tags to Students

1. Go to the student record(s).
2. Add a tag such as:
   • 7th Grade
   • 8th Grade
   • Summer

Step 2: Schedule the Broadcast or Recurring Message

1. Go to Broadcasting > Scheduled
2. In the Send To dropdown, select All Students.
3. Once selected, click the Tag 
4. Choose the specific tag you created (e.g., 7th Grade).
