Avoiding Duplicate Google Drive Folders: Calendly & CounselMore Integration

Are you seeing duplicate students in your account?

The system generates students based on email address, so if student A schedules a meeting with email X, then student A schedules another meeting with email Y, you'll see student X listed twice in your quicklist. 

Student records are created by user email address - so if different email addresses are used by the same student = 2 students

If you activate the student, a Google Drive folder will be generated for them, and you'll have two folders for these students in your drive.

  1. When creating the "Meeting" type Calendly event be sure to tell the new customer that the student's info and email goes on the first line - always.
  2. Be sure the returning customer is reminded to continue using the same email address and not choose a new one mid-service. You can add multiple addresses to one student's record so that CounselMore will look for a match and merge the 2 as one - as it should but it cannot account for a person who randomly chooses a new communication stream.
