What Students and Parents Will See
In the Student/Parent Portal:
• Students (and parents with portal access) will receive a notification.
• Clicking the notification will take them to Messaging > Emails.
• There, they can view the full assignment summary message.
In Their Email Inbox:
Students and parents will also receive the assignment summary directly in their email inbox (Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
Note: Please be aware that the email sent for assignments is a "do not reply" email, indicating that students and parents cannot directly respond to the email regarding their assignments.
If parent reply to assignment summary - DO NOT REPLY
Counselors should kindly remind parents & students that the "do not reply" email for assignments should not be responded to directly. Instead, students and parents have the option to forward the email if they need it to be attached or they can provide comments on their assignments in the portal to assist the counselor. This will greatly help maintain the counselor's efficiency and organization.

HOT TIP
As a helpful suggestion, counselors can improve their workflow by creating routine assignments and including a direct link to the student portal login page for each assignment. This will enable students to easily access their assignments and provide any necessary input or attachments.
