Archiving Student - Record Application Outcomes, make visible to prospective clients

Before archiving a student, always make sure to update the Accepted/Declined banner. This banner reflects the final admissions results and is crucial for maintaining accurate records.

 

There is more than one location that student application outcomes can be recorded in your CounselMore software.

3. When changing a Student Record Status to Archive, a modal will launch asking for outcomes


BIOGRAPHICAL BANNERS

There is a Pencil icon to the left of the student name

Click the pencil and the screen slides down

These are the biographical banners

One of these banners reads accepted declined

There you will find the same list of schools, as the list of schools that have been added to the students app tracker. This is a convenient place for outcomes to be recorded.

It's important to enter all necessary information accurately, as this area cannot be edited after archiving.

After updating the Accepted/Declined banner. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to archive a student.

  1. Open/Edit Student Record
  2. Go to Student Information
  3. Change Status to "Archive"
  4. Confirm

Before confirming, it's important to make sure that all critical information has been updated, particularly the Declined/Accepted banner. Since some areas become un-editable after archiving.


After confirming "Archive", a modal will appear letting you edit/change the following:

  • GPA
  • Weighted GPA
  • Class Rank
  • SAT/ACT Scores
