What Happens When You Add Additional Counselors?
When adding counselors to your account, the Management Suite is enabled based on the number of counselors you have.
Adding Your Second Counselor ($39)
When you add your second counselor, the Management Suite is automatically applied at no additional cost.
This allows your team to begin using Management Suite features, including counselor assignment, role-based permissions, and additional collaboration tools.
Adding Your Third Counselor
When you add a third counselor, you'll be prompted to choose one of the following options:
- Continue with the Management Suite for $50/month
- Continue without the Management Suite
If you choose to continue with the Management Suite, your organization will retain access to its collaboration and management features.
If you choose to continue without the Management Suite, your account will continue to function without those additional features.

How can I prevent Full Access?
If you want your essay coaches to see only the students they're working with, you have two options:
Option 1: Use Tagging (Manual Filtering - (No Credit Cost, without management suite)
You can't technically restrict visibility without Manager Suite, but you can organize and guide your coach to view only certain students using Tags.
- Login to CounselMore
- Open a student record you want the essay coach to work with
- Go to student information and Add a tag like: Essaysupport2026
- Repeat this for each assigned student
For your essay coach, they can:
- Go to QuickList

Click the small triangle in the search bar at the top.

Enter the Tag you used (e.g., “EssaySupport2025”).

All students with that tag will appear—making it easy to locate just the relevant records.
Option 2: Add Manager Suite for Full Privacy Controls
If you want to formally assign students and limit visibility, you’ll need to add the Manager Suite to your subscription.
Removing the License Later
When the additional counselors contract ends:

Reassign their students back to your account.

Delete their user account.

Email us at support@counselmore.com and ask us to remove the Manager Suite.
Once that’s complete, you’ll return to your original single license setup.
